In this diverse role of high impact within our matrix organization we are hiring an energized, inclusive and forward-thinking Plant Manager to join our team in our Materials Group Color Matching Service business (graphics.averydennison.com) in Alphen a/d Rijn, Netherlands with a direct reporting line to our High Value Business Operations Director.

Qualifications

What we expect from you! - Your Expertise:

  • Established Leadership: Proven experience of 8+ years in plant operations and managerial roles, ideally spanning multiple functions (manufacturing, logistics, supply chain) within a dynamic process manufacturing setting. Your strategic vision and operational acumen are key.
  • Empathetic Influence: Exceptional leadership and people management skills, coupled with a deep passion for safety, Industry 4.0, continuous improvement, sustainability, diversity, equity, and inclusion. You excel at inspiring and empowering your team, fostering a culture of growth and collaboration.
  • Strategic Execution: Skilled in leading complex, multi-site, multi-functional projects, with a solid Lean Manufacturing foundation (Green Belt/Black Belt preferred). You're a master of translating vision into impactful results.
  • Global Communication: Fluency in English, with Dutch proficiency or a strong desire to learn. Your ability to connect and communicate across cultures is essential.
  • Innovative Drive: Creativity, enthusiasm, and an entrepreneurial spirit, fueling your passion for sustainable business growth. You're ready to make a significant impact and advance your career at Avery Dennison.
