Job Description
We are looking for a Senior FP&A Analyst. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of financial principles, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a high level of ambiguity. This role requires a proactive professional who can collaborate across departments, gather essential data, and provide insightful financial reporting and analysis to support strategic business decisions
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, update, and maintain financial reports, including P&L statements, budgets, cost analysis, CAPEX reports, FCF tracking, and savings analysis
- Provide ad hoc financial analysis and reporting as required by corporate and business stakeholders
- Utilize Excel/Google Sheets at an advanced level to automate reports, analyze data, and create dynamic financial models
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather necessary financial data, ensuring accuracy and completeness
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders to ensure smooth information flow and support decision-making processes
- Ensure financial reports align with US GAAP and IFRS standards
- Monitor and assess business performance metrics, providing recommendations based on financial insights
- Assist in the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial planning and forecasting processes
- Proactively identify process improvements to enhance financial reporting efficiency
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously and adapt to new priorities and reporting requirements quickly
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is an advantage
- Minimum 5 years of experience in FP&A, accounting, or financial reporting rolesStrong knowledge of P&L statements, cost structures, budgeting, and financial analysisHigh proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets, including advanced formulas, pivot tables, macros, and data visualizationExperience with Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) is preferredStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detailBasic knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS accounting principles
- Profound knowledge in Excel and/ or Google Spreadsheet, e.g. ability to design, develop and maintain tables, formulas, graphs, and macros
- Ability to work under pressure, handle multiple tasks, and meet tight deadlines
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with various stakeholders and build lasting relationships in a multicultural environment.
- Self-starter with a high tolerance for ambiguity, able to navigate frequent changes in reporting needs and priorities
- Fluency in English is essential, fluency in Dutch and/or Polish is a plus.
