Job Description

As a (Sr) Market Strategy Specialist, you will develop an in-depth knowledge of our customers and the broader ecosystem we are currently engaged in and support strategy development, innovation and market analysis. You will act as a valuable resource of the European Marketing team to provide strategic insights and identify opportunities related to the Packaging and Label industry as well as the entire value chain and drive strategic developments and growth across our business. You will have opportunities to participate in projects or assignments where you can interface with different departments and the senior management.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct research on B2B and B2C markets and maintain in-depth knowledge of the Packaging and Label industry ecosystem, including assessment of the latest industry trends, market sizing, new technologies, new opportunity spaces and business models

  • Analyze and track competitors’ strategy using financial data, annual reports, SWOT analysis, etc.

  • Deliver high-quality reports about customers, market growth and its drivers, share performance, industry & macroeconomic trends, market & competitive insights

  • Lead strategic projects to identify new opportunities and to support business growth

  • Translate market insights into actionable recommendations to the commercial teams

  • Generate and interpret surveys and market research based on business requirements (i.e. VOC, Customer Satisfaction, NPS)

  • Handle ad-hoc assignments and spot requests/questions

Qualifications

  • Bachelor or Master degree in Market Research, Economics, Business Administration, or related

  • 5+ year(s) of experience in Strategic Marketing, Consulting or Market Research / Intelligence or equivalent, specifically in the B2B environment

  • Strong data analysis, reporting and visualization skills with an eye for details and creativity

  • Critical thinkers, excellent problem solving skills and agile way of working

  • Strong skills in Excel and Google Workspace

  • Knowledge in Qualtrics, Cognos, R (other data analytics tools considered a plus)

  • Fluent in writing, speaking and reading in English (other languages considered a plus) and excellent communication & presentation skills;

  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills with a positive mindset

  • Fast learner, able to take an initiative, work well under pressure

  • Ability to work independently and work with various functions and levels within the organization
