Job description
We are looking for a Marketing Support Specialist on behalf of the European Space Agency (ESA) for their location in Noordwijk, Netherlands.
Please be aware that this is a temporary position starting with an initial duration of four months. This can be discussed further during the interview process.
Please note, the successful candidate will be employed by ATG Europe (or one of its subsidiaries). Furthermore, upon selection, they will be subject to a general security screening performed by an external provider (further information will be provided at the interview stage).
The successful candidate will be tasked with, but not limited to:
Continue, set-up or procure, and run the digital platforms as needed for existing or new HRE initiatives (e.g. initiative specific website, LinkedIn account), ensuring the websites are maintained, remain functional, and manage their content to ensure accuracy and relevance;
Coordinate Editorial Board meetings to define and review the action plan for digital marketing activities (frequency as needed for the specific initiative);

Coordinate and/or contribute to the content production for Digital Platforms. That includes:
infographics, video scripts and web articles;
support the sourcing of the necessary visual material needed for such products;
define requirements for additional digital tools when requested and support web site administration of the Digital Platforms.
Support coordination of the interfaces with internal and external partners (e.g. with TIA Business Solutions for BSGN);

Engage the business-to-business community of the HRE directorate with focused actions intended to raise awareness on the initiative’s main objectives and actions:
organise and deliver quarterly webinars in the field of Space Resources, including e.g. promotional webinars highlighting the relevant initiatives, informative sessions ;
on future calls and opportunities, interactive Q&A sessions for direct engagement, expert roundtables covering specific topics;
support the development of newsletters (e.g. BSGN newsletter).
Conception and conduct social media campaigns;
Analysis of media trends and local impact reporting.

A Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field;
At least 7 years of relevant experience;
Highly proficient in communication means and social media;
Professional training in relevant subjects are an asset;
Customer orientated;
Teamwork attitude;
Diplomatic and political sensibility;
Understanding of international environments;
Autonomy in delivery;
Proactive attitude;
Open to flexible working hours;
Candidates must be eligible to work and live in the EU;
Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
