The Opportunity

APM Terminals is looking for a Change Management Intern to join our global transformation team. This is a hands-on role where you’ll gain exposure to how large-scale organisational change is designed, communicated, and delivered across a network of more than 60 terminals worldwide.


You’ll focus on communication and engagement activities while supporting broader change management initiatives. Working alongside a high-performing team in strategy, change, and transformation delivery, you’ll have a dedicated mentor to guide your development and help you achieve your goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support communication and engagement activities for global change initiatives

  • Assist in creating content such as presentations, infographics, and videos

  • Help manage internal communication channels and explore emerging digital trends

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth delivery of change programmes

What We’re Looking For

  • Lean-minded: someone who brings a strong mindset of continuous improvement – naturally curious, committed to solving problems at the root, and driven to make things better every day

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English

  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail

  • A proactive, collaborative, and curious approach to work

  • Comfortable working in a global, cross-cultural environment

  • Digitally savvy with an interest in communication tools and trends

Education and Eligibility

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s programme (HBO or WO) in Communications, Marketing, Business, Change Management, Organisational Psychology, or a related field

  • Must be registered as a full-time student during the internship period (proof required)

  • For non-EU students at Dutch institutions, a NUFFIC agreement is required

  • This internship is not suitable for professionals with significant work experience
