KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead and manage a team of professional staff, including entry-level employees and supervisors.
Adapt departmental plans and priorities to address resource constraints and operational challenges.
Apply subject-matter expertise to resolve common business issues.
Operate within established practices and procedures, escalating all non-routine issues appropriately.
Continuously identify and implement improvements to operational processes and systems.
Ensure effective handover of tasks and optimize communication between teams during shift transitions.
Oversee daily updates in the Warehouse Management System, including production results, system faults, and stock deviations, and provide required reporting to the Site Manager.
Utilize functional expertise, routinely applying knowledge of theories, methods, techniques, and processes.
Maintain an understanding of the overall business and the interdependencies between functions.
Develop team capability through effective coaching, mentoring, and talent-building initiatives.
Ensure adherence to the applicable Quality Management System, including ISO standards, as well as GMP and GDP requirements.
Manage activities covered by the site’s authorization, ensuring compliance with serialization requirements.
Ensure proper documentation of all actions related to wholesale trade in medicinal products.
Oversee the implementation and execution of training and professional development programs.
Coordinate and promptly execute actions related to the withdrawal and suspension of medicinal products.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & SKILLS
Several years’ experience in logistics; experience in pharmaceutical logistics is preferred.
Experience managing and leading warehouse operations teams.
Strong knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) regulations.
Experience working in an international matrix organization with strong stakeholder-management capabilities.
Demonstrated lean mindset and commitment to continuous improvement.
Fluency in Dutch and English
Willingness to undergo pre-employment screening, including a Certificate of Conduct (VOG).
