At APM Terminals, we foster a dynamic learning and training culture that empowers our employees to excel. Our commitment to continuous improvement is driven by Lean principles, ensuring that every team member has the opportunity to develop their skills and advance their careers. Join us to be part of an innovative environment where your growth is our priority, and experience the numerous advantages of being a valued member of our team.
A dynamic position with good employment terms and attractive benefits.

Influence over a global portfolio of asset transformation projects.
Exposure to cutting-edge technologies in asset digitalization.
Location; The Hague, Netherlands
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Communication Planning: Develop and align communication strategies with transformation goals, ensuring clarity and consistency across all levels
Narrative & Content Creation: Craft compelling messaging, executive communications, toolkits, videos, and visual assets that resonate globally and locally.
Campaign Leadership: Design and deliver multi-channel campaigns, launch events, and regular communication pulses using platforms like Teams, Viva Engage, intranet, and town halls.
Stakeholder Engagement: Equip leaders and change agents with toolkits and talking points. Establish feedback loops and forums to foster two-way communication.
Measurement & Improvement: Track communication KPIs (reach, sentiment, recall) and use insights to continuously refine messaging and approach.
Storytelling & Culture Building: Share real stories of Lean/ABS in action. Embed transformation values into everyday language and recognition practices.
Risk & Resistance Management: Anticipate concerns and support leaders with proactive, empathetic messaging to maintain trust and credibility.
What We’re Looking For:
Strategic Translator: Able to distil complex business and transformation goals into clear, inspiring narratives.
Empathetic Communicator: High emotional intelligence with a deep understanding of stakeholder needs and concerns.
Purpose-Driven Storyteller: Skilled in crafting authentic stories that connect hearts and minds.
Culturally Fluent: Experience working across diverse geographies and functions, with sensitivity to cultural nuance.
Change Agile: Comfortable navigating ambiguity, shifting priorities, and dynamic transformation landscapes.
Why Join Us?
This is a rare opportunity to lead communications for one of the most significant cultural shifts in our organization’s history. You’ll work closely with senior leaders, Lean experts, and change champions across the globe — helping shape a future where continuous improvement and empowered teams are the norm.
