We are looking for an experienced Lean Coordinator, who will play a hands-on role in supporting the execution of Lean processes, training, and communication initiatives at our headquarters and office environment. In this role, you’ll be responsible for maintaining our Obeya room, facilitating Lean trainings, supporting communication efforts, and coordinating key Lean activities such as Kaikaku events, Lean awards process, and Policy Deployment processes. You’ll work closely with the ABS HQ team to ensure smooth execution of Lean practices and help embed continuous improvement into our daily operations.

Location: The Hague, Netherlands (Travel might be required up to 10 %)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own and maintain the HQ Obeya room, including 5S standards, SOPs, and support for Daily Management processes.

  • Deliver Lean training sessions at HQ and support onboarding of new employees into Lean practices.

  • Support execution of the ABS HQ communication plan and Lean community engagement activities.

  • Assist in planning and preparation for global Lean initiatives such as Kaikaku events and the Lean Award process.

  • Provide administrative support for the global Policy Deployment process, including KPI consolidation and webcast material development.

  • Support Daily Management execution by assisting board owners with updates, facilitation backup, and problem-solving sessions.

  • Support the development and continuous improvement of training material for trainings based on the Lean Program, participant feedback and ongoing Lean maturity especially for back-office functions.

Who We Are Looking For:

  • Solid hands-on experience in Lean, Operational Excellence, process mapping, or business process support roles.

  • Practical working knowledge with Lean tools and concepts such as 5S, Daily Management, Problem Solving, Standard Work, and Hoshin Kanri.

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Comfortable facilitating small group sessions and delivering training.

  • Good communication skills and ability to work across teams.

  • Self-motivated, proactive, hands-on mindset with a willingness to learn and grow.

  • Experience in administrative coordination or project support is a plus.

  • Lean training or certification is desirable but not required.

  • Experience with working across different cultures and with different functions.

REPORTING AND SCOPE:

  • The reporting line will be to the Head of APMT Business System

  • Scope of the role is within APMT Headquarter and Global Functions
