As a Business Process Specialist, you will be part of the Business Support team, who is responsible for enhancing operational efficiency, reducing waste, and driving business growth through the implementation of best practices and process improvements at Maersk Maasvlakte Site.

This position is based at our state-of-the-art warehouse facility in Maasvlakte.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in warehouse operations. Analyze performance data, gather feedback from users, and implement changes to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and productivity within the warehouse.

  • Describing and Testing New Functionalities: Document new functionalities and enhancements within the WMS. Conduct thorough testing to ensure that these functionalities work as intended and meet the users' requirements. This includes creating test cases, performing user acceptance testing (UAT), and addressing any issues or bugs that arise.

  • Training Users: Train users in the warehouse on the effective use of the WMS. Develop training materials, conduct hands-on training sessions, and provide ongoing support to ensure that users are proficient in using the system and can troubleshoot common issues independently.

  • Process Documentation: systematically document all operational workflows across teams, to create a comprehensive knowledge base of current processes, dependencies, and inefficiencies.

Qualifications:

  • University degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field.

  • Experience in logistics and warehouse operations, including hands-on experience with warehouse management systems.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify issues, develop solutions, and implement changes effectively.

  • Effective communication and training skills, with the ability to interact with customers, team members, and end users in a clear and professional manner.

  • Commitment to continuous learning and staying updated with the latest trends and advancements in logistics and warehouse management systems.

  • Fluent in English, proficiency in Dutch is a plus
