Content Manager at APM Terminals

As Content Manager at APM Terminals, you will be responsible for content ideation, creation, publication and organization across externally owned, shared and paid media channels including – but not limited to – social media channels, events, newsletters and sales collateral. In this role, you will work closely with APM Terminals’ Web Content Manager, who is responsible for APMTerminals.com, as well as APM Terminals’ Global Media Lead, responsible for external media.

You will have a pivotal role in carving out the right processes and standards to mature our content creation, publication and amplification capabilities across the globe. To do this, you will be supporting commercial, communications, public affairs and marketing colleagues in local regions and terminals as well as equipping them with the right knowledge and tools to unlock the full potential of content and to contribute to APM Terminals’ business objectives on a global level.

About your role

In this role, you are packaging value propositions and driving thought leadership via our external channels, being responsible for:

  • Evolving and implementing APM Terminals’ global external content strategy for owned channels, in close cooperation with the external media teams

  • Managing our global content calendar, developing and delivering content that matters, sparks and sticks with external audiences

  • Creating and managing production of high-quality long- and short-form content across digital and print channels and content forms like social media updates, blog posts, presentations and marketing materials

  • Act as main focal point when it comes to content creation and management, for both global and local creation and activation. You advise on the right channels and content formats with insights into dynamics of reach and impact of different channels

  • Create blueprints, guidelines and toolkits that our global, regional and local teams can use for both online and offline content

  • Develop impactful presentations and speaking notes to support leadership with communications at external events

  • Manage content repositories and platforms to ensure that tools and templates for communication and marketing are up to date and readily accessible for the broader organization

  • Manage ongoing relationships with external vendors and agencies to develop and deliver the right content

What are we looking for?

If you recognize yourself in the below profile we are interested to receiving your CV (in English):

  • Minimum of 7 years’ experience working in a communications, marketing or editorial B2B environment, with a strong focus on content creation and editing

  • Ability to develop and execute on content strategies, rooted in insights

  • A high degree of creativity and innovation to develop content that matters, sparks and sticks with our audiences

  • Preferably, you are experienced in producing your own work in multiple formats, like banners, flyers and PowerPoint presentations

  • You have experience briefing and managing external vendors and agencies to develop and deliver the right campaigns and materials, including video and photography

  • You are fluent in written and spoken English with superb copywriting skills (clear, persuasive, collaborative & influential)

  • Highly independent, organized and capable of delivering in a fast-paced environment

  • Working with – and managing the relationship with – different stakeholders, from our frontline commercial teams to senior management and from colleagues in concession excellence to colleagues with an operational background
