The Web Content Manager reports into APM Terminals’ Head of Marketing & Brand.

Key responsibilities of the role

As Web Content Manager at APM Terminals, you will be responsible for content creation, publication and organization for APMTerminals.com. APMTerminals.com is our core customer facing platform, with millions of visitors a month – hosting the content, features and products that helps our customers to ease the flow of their supply chains. APMTerminals.com includes the integrated websites of our 60 ports and container terminals across the globe.

You will have a pivotal role in carving out the right processes and standards to mature our web content capabilities across the globe, by not only offering support to our commercial, communications and marketing colleagues in the regions and terminals – but also by equipping them with the right knowledge and tools to unlock the full potential of APMTerminals.com to contribute to APM Terminals business objectives.

In your role, you are strengthening customer experience and driving thought leadership via our content and APMTerminals.com, being responsible for:

  • Creating and updating content for the global section on APMterminals.com, that drives the customer experience

  • Creating web content for new products, digital features and self-service environments

  • Creating standards and processes for web content

  • Training our terminals on basic content management

  • Supporting the terminals with content creation and publications

  • Standardizing and optimizing information flows and offering towards our customers on APMTerminals.com. Including – but not limited to - knowledge management (check quality and consistency of content assets across terminals) and managing informative content and sign posting to ensure optimal use of (self-)service solutions

  • Setting up and updating e-commerce and self-service modules with language versions across the site and other tactical activities that contribute to a better user experience via our website

  • Ongoing improvement of SEO

  • Taking care of the digital mailbox and other entry points via APMTerminals.com where we receive customer queries.

What we are looking for

If recognize yourself in some of the examples above and are interested in joining us then we look forward to receiving your CV:

  • Strong experience working in a communications, marketing or editorial B2B environment, with experience in (web) content creation and editing

  • Experience working with a Content Management System, preferably Sitecore

  • Highly independent, creative, driven, organized and capable of delivering in a fast-paced environment

  • Analytical skills, being able to set-up, measure and act on data via Google Analytics

  • Working with – and managing the relationship with - different stakeholders, from our frontline teams to senior management and from colleagues in IT to external vendors to develop and deliver the right campaigns and materials

  • You have experience managing ongoing relationships with external vendors and agencies to develop and deliver the right campaigns and materials

  • You are fluent in written and spoken English with superb communication skills (clear, persuasive, collaborative & influential) both written and spoken.
