Summary
In this role, you shall be a trusted, hands-on business partner combining legal counsel, compliance operations, and operational execution for the Advario Group. As a key member of our team, you will review and draft legal terms, deliver high quality legal advice to the business and external stakeholders, and take full ownership of the day-to-day operational backbone of the Legal, Compliance, Insurance & Privacy (LCIP) department. You will drive compliance awareness, support and advance the Third-Party Risk Management programme globally, maintain and develop Legal Operations after implementation, and ensure all tools, playbooks, training campaigns and knowledge resources are actively used by global stakeholders. You will report to the Director Risk & Compliance with a dotted line to Senior Corporate Counsel.
Major Duties/Responsibilities
Legal Operations Core Responsibilities:
· Support Legal Operations implementation and critically, drive adoption post-implementation to ensure all tools, platforms and automated workflows are actively and consistently used by global stakeholders.
· Set up and maintain a knowledge database, including developing and providing online training for specific legal and operational topics.
· Prepare and implement Ways of Working (WoW) for standard legal and compliance processes; maintain and update these as Advario Group evolves.
· Pull structure and analyses compliance, legal (financial) data and produce regular stakeholder reports to support data-driven decision making across the LCIP department.
Compliance Operations & Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM):
· Actively participate in and support TPRM process, including handling of escalations, conducting due diligence follow-ups, and acting as key operational contact for the global TPRM program.
· Design, develop and execute legal and compliance training campaigns and awareness initiatives for internal global stakeholders, ensuring high engagement and measurable outcomes.
· Develop and maintain compliance and legal knowledge hub, including e-learning modules, training materials, policy summaries and topic-specific guidance notes.
· Drive internal legal and compliance communications and awareness to elevate the profile and visibility of the LCIP function across the Group.
· Provide broad support to the LCIP department, including project coordination, stakeholder management ensuring the department runs effectively on a day-to-day basis.
· Develop and maintain department policies and procedures.
Legal Counsel Core Responsibilities:
· Draft, review and negotiate supplier contracts across multiple jurisdictions.
· Support the team in providing expert legal advice to the business.
· Work closely with various departments in multifunctional teams to provide legal support.
· Keep up with current changes on all relevant areas of laws and contributing to the enhancement of the knowledge base of the company’s legal function.
Your Profile
· Master’s degree in law with at least 5 years’ experience in a law firm and/or international company.
· Knowledge of contract law and governance
· Working knowledge of core compliance topics, including Conflict of Interest (COI), Anti-trust, Anti-Bribery and Corruption, Gifts, Hospitality and Entertainment, Whistleblowing Frameworks.
· Demonstrable experience in legal operations, compliance programme management, TPRM or a combination thereof; hand-on experience with legal or compliance tools is a strong plus.
· Fluency in English; additional languages or an advantage.
· Effective communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact on various levels, cross-functional teams, and across different cultures.
· Analaytical thinker with solid judgement, high ethical standards, and integrity.
· Team player; able to “build the bridge’’ while being principled and solutions oriented.
