We are currently recruiting for a new Junior People Business Partner to be part of our team!
In this role, you will support the delivery of People services to employees in the HQ office, focusing on day-to-day employee relations and people processes. You will assist with all People-related activities across the employee life cycle, including recruitment support, onboarding, development coordination, performance tracking, and offboarding. You will also actively contribute to promoting Advario’s transformation and culture in close collaboration your HQ People team of 3, namely your People Lead who you will report into, as well as our Payroll and Global Mobility Specialist.

Major duties/responsibilities
Advice and communication support
- Provide first-line People support to all HQ employees, escalating more complex matters when needed
- Oversee and manage our PeopleNL inbox
- Assist line managers with basic guidance on people-related topics and team coordination
- Support efforts to gather feedback and contribute to creating a positive working environment
- Help coordinate employee (MyVoice) surveys and follow-up actions
- Maintain up-to-date People content on Advanet NL for HQ employees, i.e. including on New Joiners and Leavers, news posts, our Employee Handbook (digital version) and more.
Processes, Policies, and Administration
- Responsible in the execution of People processes such as onboarding, internal moves, offboarding, as well as all administrative changes (in our respective systems such as Workday, Arboned, as well as in our Pension and Insurance systems and more)
- Ensure timely and accurate data entry and maintenance across all People systems, maintaining up-to-date employee records and minimizing errors
- Regularly review and update employee data to reflect changes such as job titles, reporting lines, benefits, and employment status
- Assist in handling employee documentation, contract preparation and employment letters as well as pre-boarding & onboarding related processes, including tasks in Workday
- Provide administrative support for policy updates and implementation in coordination with your People Lead
- Monitor relevant changes in Dutch employment law and assist with updating policies, templates and processes accordingly
- Help maintain organized and compliant digital (and where applicable physical) People files and ensure confidentiality and data protection standards are upheld
- Manage operational tasks such as creating purchase requisitions, verifying invoices and supporting People function documentation workflows
Talent Acquisition Support
- Assist in recruitment activities such as job posting, interview scheduling, and candidate communication
- Support the end-to-end recruitment process, including coordinating logistics and candidate experience
- Communicate with external recruitment partners under the direction of your People Lead
- Proactively support in the HQ office personnel planning and recruitment requirements - from job description to optimal staffing and position evaluation/ job grading
Your profile
- Master’s degree in Business, Management of Learning, or Psychology related fields
- 3-5 years of People/HR generalist experience
- Experience Dutch employment law & practice is preferred
- Highly collaborative with excellent interpersonal skills and proven ability to influence and take courageous decisions when needed
- Able to operate effectively both on own initiative and as part of a team
- Service focused, continuously striving for operational excellence and delivering high quality work
- Hands on attitude, able to cultivate relationships at all levels in the business.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to indirectly influence
- Adept at solving problems effectively, with a focus on customer satisfaction
- Team player who actively collaborates to achieve tasks and understands cultural diversity
- Excellent command of written and spoken English
- Strong familiarity and capabilities with MS Office, Excel & Powerpoint specifically, and sound working knowledge of Workday or other similar HR information systems
